TLDRvia the TL;DR App

The White House, Barack Obama, The First Lady, Vice President Biden, and Dr. Jill Biden to be archived.

The White House has released a summary on what digital accounts are transitioning to the new administration and how you can continue to follow and engage with President Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, and other Obama White House officials moving forward.

The digital transition started in October with three goals in mind:

  • preserving the material created with the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA);
  • ensuring these materials continue to be accessible on the platforms where they were created, allowing for continued access to the content posted over the past eight years;
  • ensuring that the next White House and future administrations can continue to use and develop the digital channels already created to connect directly with the people they serve.

The digital transition includes all White House accounts here on Medium:

No information so far on other popular White House-related Medium profiles like Ambassador Samantha Power, Ben Rhodes, Jason Goldman, Megan Smith, and others.
