SHORT CHAIRS — TALL TABLES

TLDRvia the TL;DR App

The struggle of a software developer

Can your overly hipster coffee shop please provide adequate seating arrangements while I use 8 hours of your electricity and wifi for a $3 cup of coffee!?

It’s ridiculous that you expect me to sit here all day without a motorized standing desk. I didn’t quit my job and go back to school to be subjected to your uncomfortable work environment.

Your coffee shop made me:

  • buy a trendy Apple computer
  • grow a mustache
  • learn how to wear skinny jeans without appearing uncomfortably cramped all day
  • wear a beanie no matter how stifling hot it is outside
  • pretend that I don’t like taking showers
  • shop at whole foods
  • enjoy kale while we all agree it’s like eating tree bark
  • acquire the taste for quadruple dry aged hopped pale ale for $37 a sixer
  • sell my car and buy a fixie

The least you could do is make my table to chair ratio high enough that my forearms don’t cramp because your trendy modern edged chair is so low my arms dig into your hand crafted solid oak with metal edged tables.

I just want to sip my $6 pour over coffee for 8 hours without pain.
