What's the most exciting video game launch this year?

I'm stuck between FFXIV's Endwalker expansion for its continuation of the story and literal farming gameplay mode and Halo Infinite's promise of Far Cry on a Halo Ring

Do you mean games that have been launched so far? Jan 1st to now or games that are upcoming this year?
Nicolas NgFeb 17, 2021, 7:18 PM
I was thinking upcoming games
richard-kubinaFeb 17, 2021, 8:46 PM

Alright cracks fingers.

Firstly, not a game, but I'm very excited about the Last of Us Television series which is apparently going to start shooting this year.

Next, I'm very excited for After The Fall, a new VR game coming from the creators of Arizona Sunshine. I've spoken to the developer on the Hacker Noon Podcast and I'm really excited about this launch now that their team and budget has grown.

Obviously Nicolas Ng if Elder Scrolls 6 really does release this year, that is the biggest one for me. I've poured endless hours into Morrowind and Skyrim (but I skipped Oblivion)
richard-kubinaFeb 17, 2021, 9:43 PM
Oblivion was great!

Oh yeah! I've been trying not to think about it too much so that the anticipation can't kill me. Bethesda RPGs are always pretty special. Speaking of, what do you guys think of Starfield, their new sci-fi IP? They haven't said much about it but are you excited?
Jack BorehamFeb 18, 2021, 1:50 AM
LEGO Star Wars Skywalker saga. Open world lego Star Wars game... I can't wait!
Limarc AmbalinaFeb 18, 2021, 4:01 AM
Don't mean to offend you Jack Boreham but are the Lego games worth playing...even if I'm 27 and have no interest in playing with Lego blocks? :rolling_on_the_floor_laughing:

Without a doubt! Great Coop action, brilliant humour and you get to play as Jar Jar Binks. What's not to love 😂
richard-kubinaFeb 18, 2021, 2:38 PM
I've played LEGO Lord of the Rings with my kiddo, it was a lot of fun! good humor too 🙂

I haven't even heard of Starfield! But I am a bit of out touch with gaming to be honest... I will check that out though, thanks for the heads up, Nicolas!

Limarc Ambalina wow LEGO Star Wars and LEGO Harry Potter were the ABSOLUTE SHIT back in the day (aka super fun and 10/10 would play the new version)
