I believe an interesting paradox will emerge with the advancement of technology and AI.

Initially, personal computers, phones, smartphones, various cool technological novelties, and the like were available to a wealthy minority. Then, with mass distribution, these things and their equivalents become available to almost everyone.

Now, we are on the threshold of widespread XR-ization (augmented reality, VR + AR) and robotization.

Apple is releasing VisionPro, which might take off and eventually become mainstream.

We see the development of various robotic systems: autonomous taxis, robot waiters, avatar teachers, rover couriers, and so on.

Almost every day, I show some analytics of AI development on my Twitter. And it’s incredible.

I've seen prototypes of self-cooking kitchens. Special tactile suits for virtual sex are being developed, which will feel similar to real life. And there are plenty of other examples.

Yes, a lot of this works somewhere inaccurately, somewhere foolishly for now.

But humanity is looking in this direction - it's obvious.

All these technologies at dawn will be available (and many are already available) to the ultra-rich (and simply rich). And then it cascades down to the masses. The average user will definitely like such things - more dopamine, more time for dopamine.

For corporations/businesses - this is a significant reduction in costs and, most importantly - removal from the chain of the most unstable part (Homo Sapiens).

At the same time, the scales will change places.

The transfer of knowledge from a real, experienced, and charismatic teacher.

A melody invented and played by a real pianist.

A meeting in a restaurant, where real chefs cook, and human waiters serve.

And much more that today is available and familiar to everyone will become, in a certain sense, a delicacy for the elite.

Yes, all this will most likely still remain at lower social levels for a long time, but of corresponding quality.

It is difficult to say when robotization and the metaverse will become dominant. With the speed of technological development, it is possible that it will happen within our lifetime (forgive me, transhumanists).

But this should not prevent us from enjoying human warmth, skills, and energy right now ❤️
