Hi All, This article provides you about live and useful updates about NEX — which is a decentralized exchange also called as DEX on NEO platform. This could be like EtherDelta for Ethereum. All kind fo NEO based tokens (NEP5 tokens) would be directly tradable from your wallet on this exchange.
Update 25 Feb’18
NEX has brought NEO closer to adoption by building a Metamask like chrome extension for NEO platform. They are calling it a NEX beta wallet extension, but would come up with a nice name soon.
This browser based wallet will allow users to interact with decentralised apps (dApps), as well as send and recieve NEO, GAS and NEP-5 tokens.
Update 25 Feb’18
Tokensale information has been finally revealed by NEON team. Don’t fall for any scams and never transfer your NEO/GAS or anything to someone claiming to issue tokens. Only trust information from neonexchange’s twitter or website.
Following are the phases of rollout for their token sale. They’ve got a lottery to participate — which is fair given huge demand and to avoid tiny individual cap. If that doesn’t get filled out (which is very unlikely) — they’re gonna give some more people a chance.
KYC is mandatory for both the rounds of lottery winners (every participant) and price for NEX is same in both the rounds.

Most common practices of good ICOs is
- Asking users to signup for whitelist
- Submit KYC/AML documents
- Process the documents and IDs to verify all compliance checklist
- Approve the whitelist and set a cap on maximum contribution to avoid whales accumulating.
