TLDREvery day we hear more about metaverses, some developed by large corporations and others open thanks to the use of Bitcoin. Metaverses are different, some will use it for entertainment, others for professional, educational, or other purposes, and a single platform will not be able to cover all. For this, we must have our eyes on the future Cloud, with the MetaCloud. The MetaCloud will be built in the shape of the future of the world's largest digital currency.via the TL;DR App

The growing development of the metaverses, at a rate even faster than the most enthusiastic, did not expect, makes us aware of other needs that must be resolved for a balance and mass use of the metaverses in the coming years. For this, we must have our eyes on the future Cloud, with the MetaCloud.

The Role of Metaverses in our Daily Lives

Every day we hear more about metaverses, some developed by large corporations (sometimes controversial about the implications in the use of data and privacy) and others open thanks to Blockchain platforms, which allow us to have greater control over our data and participate in Free form. In this last type of metaverses, we can find some popular ones like The Sandbox, Decentraland, Axie Infinity, and more.

Although there is a discussion about whether they will all coexist in the future, we believe that this is the case, because our personal needs on these platforms are different, some will use it for entertainment, others for professional, educational, or other purposes, and a single platform will not be able to cover all.

The MetaCloud

With Web 3.0 and decentralized technologies, we already have the opportunity to store files without depending on a centralized provider (such as IPFS, Sia Network, etc.), and execution of actions through Smart Contracts, but there is an important point that is not complete yet, and it is the ability to scale computing capacity when more users are connected at any given time, as is the case with Web applications on Cloud servers, that is where the MetaCloud appears.

Imagine the case of The Sandbox, we are inside participating in a meeting with friends who are in other parts of the world, but at the same time, millions of people are doing the same, and from one moment to another, other millions of people join, and the interactions start to be slower, sometimes your character freezes, that's because the available capacity is less than the required one, and the only way is to add more computation, but how to do it without centralizing everything?

The MetaCloud will allow this, just like any other Blockchain network (it is even possible to be one more), the participating nodes will put their computing capacity to process certain actions in exchange for a reward (possibly in tokens) as an incentive for having it, and at the same time, it will require privacy so that user data is not misused.

This is not a new concept, it already comes from the early 2000s when some people shared their unused computing to process certain data associated with health, searching for or generating certain information.

There are already platforms imagining and starting to build on this MetaCloud so that metaverses are more efficient in the future, for example, iExec.

Those of us in the Metaverses will see in the MetaCloud a unique development opportunity.
