Another milestone for Hackless, as we recently opened private access to Wallet Rescue, our new service that helps users recover funds from hacked and compromised cryptocurrency wallets on ETH and BSC networks. Powered by sophisticated transaction bundles, a preliminary stimulation function, and private mining technology, the application already helped several individuals in beta access. In this post, you will find a few cases and get an opportunity to make DeFi space safer and share our profits!

What is Wallet Rescue?

Wallet Rescue, is a tool created by Hackless to assist in getting funds out of hacked or compromised wallets. All assets that are left behind in accounts linked to hacked wallets, such as staking rewards, vested tokens or NFT’s can be extracted with the help of our application. We offer a unique solution to those who have fallen victim to bots that immediately transfer any funds sent to your hacked wallet address.

Using this technology, recently known as Conductor, we’ve savedmore than $700 in MVP. And now, we’ve packed it into a user-friendly and intuitive application that has been tested in private access and helped several users from our community, both big accounts (over six figures) as well as smaller players (with only a few hundred dollars), demonstrating its efficacy. These results solidify our commitment to building safer and more reliable blockchain support for those who crave more security in the blockchain space.

Successful Case studies

As we tested our service, word quickly spread, and several users presented themselves with their hacked wallets in the hope of saving assets from their hacked wallets that were seemingly lost. We will take a closer look at three different case studies of successful recoveries using our service.

Metamask Phishing Client

An unfortunate client had a frustrating experience when he visited a malicious phishing website and had his wallet drained. A hacker was able to steal BNBx LP tokens from his wallet, leaving our user in a desperate situation.

In the hopes of retrieving the stolen assets, the client reached out to admins of projects where he had staked assets to seek their help in recovering them.

Unfortunately, the client was contacted by fake admins and fell victim to not only losing his LP tokens, but also having a sweeper bot connected to his wallet which quickly cleaned out all incoming transactions.

Knowing that the client still had a few vestings and staked tokens linked to the wallet, he reached out to us. With the help of Wallet Rescue, our client was able to retrieve the remaining staked assets and secure them from being stolen by ill-intended hackers.

Sweeper Bot Client

Another unfortunate client was devastated when he found out that his wallet had been hacked. He had lost most of his cryptocurrency, but luckily had Merit Circle (MC) and Illivium (ILV) that were still locked in smart contracts.

In order to save the funds, we provided access to the Wallet Rescue application, along with a personalized user manual to guide the client through the necessary transactions. As the user learned more about our service, we assisted him in setting up the necessary transactions, patiently working through any points that were confusing.

The client was able to save 1044 MC ($325)  and was also able to recover 2.23 ILV ($120), which had been transferred to a secure wallet in his own control. (Screenshots)

Illuvium (ILV), amount 2.23 MC

"I lost my coins due to my own mistakes and naivety, and felt terrible because they belonged to my family and friends. The hacker took all I had but forgot about my staked tokens. I found Hackless and they explained to me how their application worked. I entered the necessary information, launched the app, and within a blink of an eye, the coins were in my secure wallet. Thanks to them, I was able to recover my coins with no trouble at all."

AMASA Client Rescue

We also recovered seemingly unattainable tokens for a client whose wallet had been compromised, causing him to lose access to a significant portion of his cryptocurrency portfolio. The client was still aware that they had over 525,000 Amasa (AMAS) staked tokens, worth around $4,651.5, but couldn't find a way to access them.

After analyzing his wallet history, we were able to help the client with the specific input of the correct transactions, and within only a few hours, he was able to successfully retrieve a large portion of his portfolio to a secure location with full control over the funds.

The client felt reassured that there are still people who do good in this space and stated that all crypto investors who may have lost access or are unable to access their positions would benefit from Wallet Rescue.
