In truth, blockchain-based games are evolving into something new altogether that combines the fun elements of conventional gaming, the excitement of experiencing what blockchain interaction looks like, and exhilarating elements of trading & profit-making as well. ETH.TOWN, an Ethereum-based game with MetaMask support, will bring with it innovative gameplay development revolving around the purchase and sale of apartments and corporate offices in a crypto-business tower. The team believes the project has bits of what everyone is looking for, and we’ll illustrate on that just a bit more in this post.

Our Pitch: The game is being developed by the On5 Games Development Studio — we’re a veteran mobile games developer who has worked with companies such as Samsung, Atari and EA. Our Pitch: A core part of ETH.TOWN gameplay revolves around TRADING — buying and selling characters and floor space. As our community grows, assets in the game would inherently gain in $, as folks increasingly value the functions that they provide. Broadly speaking, this is no different from getting some utility tokens from a service-provision ICO and waiting to re-sell as their user-base grows. And we’re confident our user-base will grow, with our swathe of events from now till June and our mobile version launch in June!
These game assets are rare digital collectibles in their own regard (just look at the artwork), but we’ve also incorporated important ETH.TOWN functions into them as well, which will further increase their demand. More importantly, the ERC-20 compatible ETH.TOWN Investor Tokens (ETIT) play a big role in the game. Our previous posts on token mechanics outlines clearly how ETIT holders will be getting a share of the turnover from the trading volume on the platform. These tokens are rare in the sense that they can never be directly purchased from the game or developer, and are only awarded via certain channels, including early-day airdrops/bounty, gaming activity, Presale participation, and trading on EtherDelta or other exchanges.
As game trading volume grows, the Ether distribution pool will grow as well. Token supply in turn, will be kept in check by means of token spending on other valued in-game content (e.g., heroes). If you own any ETIT, sit back, relax, and watch the Ether profit streams come in.
