The Metaverse Travel Agency (M.T.A), a Non-Fungible Token (NFT) project specializing in first-of-their-kind NFT wearables, has officially partnered with crypto’s largest virtual worlds, Decentraland and The Sandbox, to announce a new initiative that will bridge the gap between NFTs and the Metaverse.
Metahelmets
On October 7, 2021, the M.T.A. will launch a collection of 10101 Metahelmets, which will be among the first programmatically generated wearable collections in the NFT space. Every helmet will be unique and programmatically generated from over 120 custom 3D traits - visors, holographic projectors, outer shells, screens, and more. MetaHelmets are also equipped with a screen that will allow users to display other NFTs they own directly on their MetaHelmet, through ‘The Quantum Machine’, a feature that will be available soon after launch.
When users acquire a Metahelmet, they gain access to an exclusive community filled with events, challenges, and rewards. In the weeks leading up to the drop, the M.T.A has been hosting scavenger hunts and quests, as well as developing a deep storyline for NFT holders to explore in the future. Following the launch, the M.T.A. will release unlockable content, bounties, and other exclusive activations for MetaHelmet owners.
The M.T.A also has a partnership in the works with an augmented reality platform (TBA) that will allow owners to wear their helmets in the physical world. The M.T.A community will soon grow to include more partners, more lore, and more exclusive opportunities for token holders.
The M.T.A, Decentraland and The Sandbox are excited to work together to allow users to wear their NFTs in the digital world. We envision the Metahelmet as an emblem of unity for metaverse projects, and a beacon of more collaborations to come.
