The Random Show with Tim Ferriss and Kevin Rose aka Tim’s podcast….When these two get together and chat, it’s always a good time. While I love watching The Random Show that they’ve been filming sporadically for a few years, it was interesting to hear it in the context of a podcast. They deliver hit after hit on this episode.
Article I’m Digging:
The Science Of Why You Should Spend Your Money On Experiences, Not Things….Yes, yes, yes. Things are awesome, but experiences are better. This relates to one of the things Tim talked about in the podcast (mentioned above in case you were crazy and skipped that point), saying that 80% of the joy of going on a trip comes from the anticipation of going on the trip. Planning something 6 months in advance and having that time to get excited about it is incredible.

Snapchat….Finally bit the bullet and downloaded it. Definitely not intuitive to use but I’m excited to play with it. Gary Vaynerchuk is all about it right now and he’s probably the best predictor of future popularity of social media networks ever. Plus, did you see when DJ Khaled got lost on his jet ski a few weeks ago??

What I’m Buying:
I bought a backdrop stand and lighting rig, so that I can make more exciting selfies and videos. Selfie game is going to be strong in 2016.
What I’m Watching:
ChaseJarvis RAW….Started watching a few episodes of what Chase Jarvis is putting out on youtube. He’s killing it. Such an inspirational guy and his videos are full of great stuff.
Trip Locations I’m Pondering:
I’ve only got 5 days left to pick a location for my big trip of 2016. (click here if you’re confused by that) I’ve narrowed it down to Cuba, Japan, and Spain. Which one will it be?
