I believe that the most exciting technology of the present is C# & Microsoft technologies. Learn more about my thoughts and opinions on C# & Microsoft technologies and my journey in the tech industry via the interview below.
1. What do you do and why do you do it? (tell us your story)
I work as a senior engineer - web apps at SourceFuse technologies. Primarily work in C# and proficiency in various Microsoft application development frameworks. From my early days, I have always been more inclined towards solving problems like in mathematics, and that’s how I developed my aspirations towards programming.
2. Tell us more about the things you create/write/manage / build!
.Net Core Web API Development & Security. Xamarin mobile application development.
3. How did you end up on your current career path? Do you like it?
Yes, I love programming and solving real-life problems. Now 6 years in, I’m so grateful for this career path! I’m learning so much about myself and how to leverage my strengths in the software industry.
4. What tech are you most excited or passionate about right now and why?
Initially, I started as a Java Developer, but I have always been fond of Microsoft technologies.
I think speed is the parameter that excited me the most. When you are surrounded by technical things, you feel much more ‘powerful'. And the feeling that you are not alone is always backing you.
5. What tech are you most worried about right now and why?
Machine learning scares me. It will change the world in ways we can not even predict now. I don’t think it will happen as fast as they are predicting, it will take decades or even a century, but it will happen.
6. If we gave you 10 million dollars to invest in something today, what would you invest in and why?
Invest in yourself first. Read every moment you are free. If you cannot read, listen to audiobooks. After you read, take action and apply the knowledge and then invest.
7. What are you currently learning?
I am currently learning new design patterns and the security aspect involved while developing any applications.
8. What’s the best advice you’ve ever given someone?
It's OK to ask for help. If someone makes you feel bad for asking for help, don’t mind. And if someone asks for your help, give it freely, knowing how difficult it can be
9. What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
Never convince yourself why you failed. Accept your failures and bounce back.
