This interview series celebrates all the phenomenal Startups of the Year Winners. Congratulations! Well-Deserved, Champion. The HackerNoon community is excited to learn more about you!

What does it mean for you to win this title?

Winning this title represents an acknowledgment of our work and the trust bestowed upon us by our supporters and the HackerNoon community. We express our gratitude to all who have supported us.

What sets you apart from the competition?

We are deeply committed to experimentation, building, and innovation. We're also fortunate to have the unwavering support of our community, from the #VerifyValley to the Nym and Alephium communities, which are a powerful driving force for us.

What do you love about your team, and why are you the ones to solve this problem?

We're a team driven first and foremost by passion, and that shows in our work. Thanks to our diverse and complementary profiles, we can cover a wide range of skills. This enables us to offer a wide range of services to our partners.

If you weren’t building your startup, what would you be doing?

The same thing, we'd be contributing to projects with the same passion.

At the moment, how do you measure success? What are your core metrics?

In many respects, for example, by businesses and users who rely on our infrastructure for their projects, or the number of people who use our dApps or read our articles. By taking greater responsibility for the projects with which we collaborate.

Tell us how your startup is changing the world.

Changing the world would be a little presumptuous, but we strive to promote privacy, self-sovereignty, and trustless innovation in the most educational way possible. To be able to show the way to other decentralized organizations and contributors, and inspire them to do the same.

How do you or your company intend to embrace the responsibility of this title in 2024?

By continuing to do what we do, with the same seriousness, passion, and energy.

What goals are you looking forward to accomplishing in 2024?

We're going to expand the scope of our skills by continuing to improve our existing tools and exploring the creation and development of other dApps. We will be part of new hackathons, strengthening our commitment to the communities in which we are involved.

Which trend(s) are you most excited about in 2024? Share your reasons.

As it's part of our DNA, the main trend we're interested in is privacy, so we constantly monitor new developments and tools in this sector. We also keep a close eye on Bitcoin and PoW projects such as Alephium.

2023 had been another crazy year, especially in tech, with layoffs and the Generative AI takeover! Which trend are you most concerned about? Be as brief or as detailed as you like.

The evolutions and paradigm shifts offered by AI are very interesting to follow, as they open up new fields of perspective in a huge number of areas, and are also a precursor to societal change.

However, due to the intrinsic nature of our business, we see certain threats, particularly in terms of privacy and respect for digital integrity, and will be keeping a close eye on regulations in this field.

Share your biggest success so far and/or your biggest failure so far.

Our greatest success has been to see the enthusiasm and support of our ever-growing community. We're also honored by the confidence of our partners like Nym and Alephium. So far, we've been lucky enough not to encounter any failures.

We would love your feedback on HackerNoon as a tech publication! How has your experience been with us?

It was a very good experience, and we were honored to be nominated and to have won this title, especially from a media whose content we appreciate. The follow-up throughout the competition was very good.

Any words of wisdom you’d like to share with us?

Privacy is a fundamental human right, not a privilege reserved for the few.
