TLDRA brand ambassador is a person who represents a company without being an official representative. To become an Ambassador of any project is quite easy, you just need to devote enough time. Only the most useful participants become ambassadors, so you have to try very hard! And the more unique the content you produce, the more chances you have!via the TL;DR App

Hi! Most likely, many of you have thought about starting a career in web3, whether it's transitioning from web2 or without any experience at all. Many people solve this problem "head-on" — they go to job search websites and get stuck there for many months. Particularly difficult job search gives people without experience and education, and many give up, thinking that without the appropriate skills to find a job in web3 is impossible.

But this is far from it! There are ambassadorship programs for such purposes! To start any project, you need an audience. And the more of it, the better. To increase the number of the audience, it is necessary to give the project maximum publicity. It is necessary to write about the project everywhere you can. Make videos, memes, articles, reposts, and so on. These are the tasks of an Ambassador. And it is quite easy to become an ambassador for a project, all you have to do is devote enough time and have an understanding of the basic principles of ethics.

To begin with, let's find out who an ambassador is. A brand ambassador is a person who represents a company without being an official representative. Often they are simply helping people who help spread the brand, usually doing the work for free. However, ambassadors are often promoted and may eventually become full-fledged employees of the company just by wanting to do so very much! But why do the projects need ambassadors?

The bottom line is that all ambassadors should be interested in making the project as successful as possible. So that the user audience grows and expands, an engaged community is formed, mentions in social networks grow, and the technical part works well. And the road to all this consists of many small but significant steps which the endorsers do together. That's why project participants have a strong interest in having a motivated, strong, and hard-working ambassador on the team with them.

In order to select participants, projects publish special forms that participants need to fill out. These forms should provide some personal information, as well as a description of their skills and past participation experience if any. If the participant will be selected, he will be contacted through the official channels, will inform about further actions, and provide a link to a special chat or channel.

In the field of web3, the ambassadors have different tasks. They may vary from project to project, but usually the choice to perform the following types of work:

  • Translating articles into different languages.
  • Creation of graphic content (memes or stickers).
  • Video reviews about a project.
  • Creating a community in Telegram.
  • Moderating the community.
  • Coordination of other users.

If you are a blogger, video creation skills will come in handy. Sometimes you need programming experience or knowledge of several languages to participate in such programs. Ambassador programs come in all sorts of forms — you need to read the terms and conditions and fill out the form.

Usually, you can find all the tasks in the project’s Discord or in special tables, where the management of the Ambassador and all the tasks of the project takes place.

Where do I start?

Since I am an Aleo Ambassador, I can't recommend that you get involved with their Ambassador Program! The project plans to attract another 200 new ambassadors, so try your luck and get on the discord: https://discord.gg/aleohq

The project has already officially hired two people from the Ambassador Program, and believe me, everyone wants to get a job at Aleo. But even if you don't get lucky (which is likely, because the maximum capacity of the Ambassador Program is set at 450 people), you'll still gain invaluable experience that will help in getting hired by other projects in the future.

There will be a total of three rounds to apply for ambassadors, the closest of which will take place as early as Feb. 24. In each round, 50 people out of about 2,000 get the role. Don't despair! Only a few truly deserve the role. And if you spend at least 20 hours of your precious time, you can get in. A little hint: Technically savvy ambassadors are in high demand right now! So if you know how to program, you should pay attention to this Ambassador program!

However, I want to clarify in advance that only the most useful participants become ambassadors, so you have to try very hard! And the more unique the content you produce, the more chances you have!
