TLDRvia the TL;DR App

So! You’ve been trying to remove people from a recurring event in Google Calendar, but they just won’t go? Let me ask you something, are you selecting “All Events”?

Ha! Big mistake!

This won't do anything but infuriate you.

The trick here is to pick "This and following events".

That's it. This will remove people from the event and all the following event.
Below is a candid Slack conversation with Hang about my journey to this current state of enlightenment:

Does anyone know how to actually remove people from google calendar events?

I keep removing Hang from the product meeting,
I select the ‘all events’ option
I send the notification email

…but they always remain :savage-joy:

EDIT!! “pick this and following events”

I don’t get it, aren’t they just saying the same thing? isn’t this the button to press to remove people? 😕

it’s probably easiest to delete the event and start over :savage-joy:

oo i picked “this event” and added “YOOOOOO” to the email and now you are gone.. time to test which of those helped

ok so picking all events doesn’t work, so now I just need to update each event until eternity
richard-kubinaJun 29, 2023, 11:41 AM
oh man!! this and following events works, but not all events
