Why does it excite you?
AIs are becoming entrenched in everyday business operations, serving as cognitive collaborators to employees -supporting creative tasks, generating new ideas, and tackling previously untenable innovations. AI as a service will affect our life on every level. It will solve problems we face, know before we get sick, shop for us and so much more. In combination with metaverse and web3, we will see a new digital landscape pop up before our eyes without even realizing it.
What are the trends in this area or products in this area that you are the fondest of? Why?
Well, in healthcare I would say because it will be more preventive work that warns in advance when something is not right.
What are the positive impacts they can have on society?
It can remove mundane tasks for us so we can focus more on what we want.
What are the negative impacts they can have on society?
It can be dominating everything and remove what it means to be human. We see already AI in art, music, and other creative areas which we have done in the past for enjoyment. Will it be in the future that “ was this done by AI or a human?”
What are your predictions on how these technologies will evolve?
I believe that AI will continue to evolve and become more sophisticated. I think that it will become better at completing more complex tasks and becoming more efficient. Additionally, I think that AI will become more accessible to people and be used in more everyday applications.
What are your predictions on the ethics of future societies in relation to these technologies?
As AI becomes more advanced, it will become increasingly difficult for humans to make ethical decisions without taking into account the opinion of AI. This could lead to a situation where humans are no longer in control of their own ethical decision-making and instead defer to AI on ethical issues.
Developers will have to partner with an AI to produce code. Doctors have to partner with an AI to determine the right diagnoses.
