Introduction

You don’t typically associate Bitcoin with poetry, but in this world poetry is undoubtedly one fun true way of learning and teaching others about groundbreaking cake layered topics in society especially in the tech space. Now if you’re looking for even more clarity after reading the poems below, then check out StevieSats article: “Edgar Allan Poe was Bullish on Crypto. I myself am a self-published poet, host of the Hummingbird Blink: Nectar Poetry podcast on Spotify, and have primarily written works under my pen name Vevna Forrow. You can also hear my sketch comedy bits, bite sized stories and spoken word poetry on most music streaming platforms such as Spotify via The Moon Kingseas.

P.S. If you’re looking for a great Poe song, then give Edgar Allan Poe by 1990nowhere a listen. Additionally, there’s a super short mini 37-page book called Edgar Allen Crypto: Crypto Terminology + Poetry + Graphic Art (2021) by April Flowers on Amazon. I was taken aback by the length for the cost I’ll admit, still goes to show you we as human beings can write poetry on any topic. Anyways, I’d like to share my favorite Bitcoin poems to date. These are by no means all of them of course:

Here come the poems “insert drum roll here….” :)🥁🥁🥁

PoemName (Bitcoin Poem 021) “Gladiator Match” by Christopher Westra

From the soldier in Ancient Rome
To us, in our present home
And, in all the world around
We want money that is sound

Sound money is not debased
So our trust is not misplaced
Because the supply is bound
For money that is sound

Sound money’s authentic ring
Heralds the value it will bring
And you know when you have found
A useful money that is sound

Sound money will not inflate
Which is fiat money’s fate
Bitcoin’s code is quite profound
Creating money that is sound

Highly secure - and stable too
Open for everyone to view
King of assets it is crowned
Because it’s hard and sound

CyberPoetry: BitCoin “Cash Future” by Derriziel Pierce

Digital currency, the alternative to real cash, decentralized crypto currency, that can be securely stashed. No need for a bank, no central authority, worldwide currency exchanges, this means no digital minorities.

Encrypted digital wallets on smart phones and computers, you can by tickets, dinner, or investigate another dark net user. The first BitCoin purchase was a pizza pepperoni, the acrimonial cicerone of matrimonial alimony.

In other words the price will be paid for separating from the central authorities, the banks, the global financial powers and whoever else can afford to BE. Has BitCoin been tainted by SilkRoad and money laundering schemes, or will the power of cash and credit cards come under the same scrutiny?

Economist wants to stop the misuse of BitCoin and maximize profits, but there are powers and other interest who only want to stop it. Paying your taxes with BitCoin may one day be a reality, the internet of things and the dark net, we are interconnected by technology.

“Value” by Anonymous Street Poet

“Crypto Crumb Crush” by foosty1

Trolling or flooding is never ok. Although, this is a poem, be kind, professional and human when interacting online in forums or groups. This poem is all in good fun as what most of us do on social media especially.

“My Bitcoin is Mine” by Rajdeep Singh

All comes roaring, when it goes to moon,
Keep shouting $10k, $100k, $1000K is coming soon!
Where were you when it was going down?
Dumping it, supporting lies, or wearing your bearish clown!
Some say love the tech, some say here for the ideology,
But all of us are looking to fill our greedy spoons!
Let the candles move, may the longs always shine,
No matter what the value, but my Bitcoin is always mine!

Conclusion

Looking for more awesome crypto or NFT poetry? Then check out the Crypto Poetry community https://cryptopoetry.io/?amp=1 “Crypto Poetry is the community for poets creating NFT crypto poetry to share their work.” You’ll find them @crypto.poetry on Instagram and @CryptoPoetry on Twitter, it appears Twitter is more recently maintained. Aside from https://www.bitcoinpoems.pro Bitcoin Poems’s site, plenty of crypto-focused poems exist.

Poetry as you can see is quite a phenomenal engaging way to share more info on a subject you’re passionate on or to learn more about. It doesn’t matter how long or short the poem is, just remember to have fun. I encourage you to try writing a poem today or even below in the comments (it doesn’t have to be about crypto) perhaps a random thought or revolving around something you’re currently tasked with.
